Me and My Book

My name is Miaoshan, and I was born into a scholarly family in southern China.

I attended university in Beijing and obtained my master's and doctoral degrees in Germany. From the age of 2, when I started kindergarten, until I graduated with my PhD at 32, I spent 30 years preparing myself to become a legitimate researcher. However, in the following 10 years after returning China, I found myself wandering through enterprises, universities, school-business collaborations, as well as research and teaching. I grappled with how to apply my knowledge and achieve a unity of knowing and doing, which became a profound question for my soul.

This question is obviously equally important for all students and those who have completed their studies: What is the ultimate purpose of years of education?

Although my academic career seemed unremarkable over the past decade, I firmly believe in two things:1. There are no wasted paths in life; 2.Everyone is born with their own unique talents.

In 2023, I had two unusual experiences that introduced me to two people who changed the course of my life. The first was a highly respected entrepreneur who guided me back to my hometown. The second was someone who traveled over 1,500 kilometers from northern China to seek me out. She helped me understand myself for the first time: Who am I? Why am I here? What are my past lives, and what is my mission in this life?

To be honest, this experience deeply moved me and opened me up to a broader world. I began to contemplate writing a book to explain certain phenomena that science has yet to fully validate, using scientific language and the research methods I have accumulated over the years. Thereafter, I received “strong support” for this endeavor.

This book is titled “Born as a Human”, which I began writing during the Spring Festival of 2024 and completed in early June, referencing nearly 300 bibliographies.I am very grateful, as the process of writing this book has also been a journey of enlightenment for me. It is the first popular science book that explains the unknown world using scientific languages and methods. If you, like me, are a firm believer in science, you might want to take a look.

In this book, I discuss many principles of quantum physics, since the microscopic world is invisible to our naked eyes. This vast, unseen world of microscopic particles constitutes 95% of the unknown around us. While we can't see it with our ordinary vision, we can certainly sense it. The sound, light, electricity, and magnetic fields of our physical world can all influence unknown spaces, and vice versa.

I explore and reveal some unsolved mysteries in the book, offering a starting point for further discussion in the future. I address the principles of fate and future possibilities, making predictions for the next 30 years (major trends), which were “communicated” to me in specific ways.

I also emphasize the essence of Eastern traditional culture. If you're interested in topics like Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Feng Shui, or the Heavenly Stems & Earthly Branches, this book can serve as a beginner's reference.
