Chapter 54: Back to the Human World

What I just shared, as well as the tragedies I didn't have time to mention yet, all have a glimmer of hope, a chance for a turnaround. However, their lives were all lost because the families couldn't afford the treatment, and many families that should have been happy were ruined in vain.

Thinking of this, my heart ached so much that I couldn't speak, and my eyes blurred with tears. I instinctively reached for a tissue to wipe away the tears, but in an instant, I felt the Universal Energy Field clear the tears from my face, including my runny nose.

I slowly calmed my emotions and asked the aliens present: "What I've said is true. I can't remember the exact times, places, or names, but you should be able to find that out, right?"

"No need to check, everything you've said is true." The noble Venusian woman replied: "So, what is your request?"

"Well, every time I think of those young children who passed away because they couldn't afford treatment, my heart breaks. They came into this world and experienced nothing. It's so unfair to them! In real life, there are many poor people whose families are torn apart by illness and poverty, but my abilities are limited, and I cannot help them. I don't have the background or connections to do charity work, so what I want to do is take this opportunity to distribute this money to those in need. As for whom to give it to, I'd like you to randomly help those who are suffering, because I don't know the specifics of who needs it. I just want to make sure my 50,000,000 is distributed to those who need it the most." I spoke with sincerity, looking at the Venusian woman.

"Charity? It's not as simple as you think. Once someone gains this kind of identity and power, they might change their principles and intentions. Human nature is complicated; we've seen many people who, after gaining power, abandoned their principles and became corrupt," said the lizard-like alien from the Siazhedowa civilization: "In your world, charity donations rarely reach the families in need. Even when they do, it's only a fraction. For example, an apparent million-dollar fund might only end up distributing a few thousand."

"I am an ordinary person with no power or influence. If I had this kind of power, all the donations would go to those who need help, without keeping a single cent. If I change my mind, then I'll leave myself open for you to experiment on me, or even dissect me. I won't have a single complaint." In response to the doubt, I couldn't hold back my emotions, and my tone became harsher. Realizing it too late, I quickly apologized to the lizard-man: "I'm sorry, I lost my temper. Please forgive me."

"It's alright, young brother, it is natural for humans." the Venusian woman said kindly: "Moreover, all of our races admire your character, and we agree to distribute your 50,000,000 to human families in need. We'll honor your request, but we won't transfer the money directly to them."

"Eh?" I didn't immediately understand why.

Seeing my confusion, the wise Martian explained: "Here's the matter, young brother. We agree to your request. Based on the value of the wealth you've been given, we'll randomly select the required number of terminally ill patients. Then, using our technology, we'll heal them directly, restoring them to full health with no side effects, allowing them to live long, happy lives. No one will ever notice the treatment. This way, your wish will be fulfilled. But, don't you want to keep something for yourself? Even 1,000,000 would be fine."

"Thank you so much. As a lucky human being selected, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Interstellar Alliance." Hearing that they would personally use their technology to heal the patients made me feel much more at ease, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief, as if a heavy burden had been lifted. From childhood to now, it seems that I have never felt so relaxed.

It would be a lie to say that I didn't feel sad or regretful when I lost 50 million in one go. If I don't even keep even 1 million, I might never have the chance to make a fortune again in this life! But, when I thought about the families in need, knowing that because of the Alliance's quiet intervention, their illnesses would be cured and live happy family lives from then on, my little pain seemed worth it.

After a moment of thought, I spoke with firm resolve: "Forget it. I don't want a penny. Let the money go toward saving as many people as possible. As long as I manage my salary wisely, I can still support my family. I'll keep exercising and take care of my health so I don't get sick."

"Alright, the Interstellar Alliance guarantees that after you leave, we will randomly select one terminally ill poor person every day in your country and provide treatment." As the wise Martian finished speaking, the other aliens nodded in agreement.

"I believe in you and the Interstellar Alliance! After disturbing you for three days, it's time to leave. Thank you for your hospitality and promise. I will remember you for the rest of my life." After speaking, I gave a solemn military salute to all the aliens with full respect. The aliens nodded and returned the gesture, watching as Buweiro escorted me out.

I felt my body shake, and in the blink of an eye, Buweiro and I were back at the place where we had met. Three days had passed, and the forest in front of me was still the same. However, my thoughts had undergone a complete transformation.

I had come to regard Buweiro as a friend, and the upcoming farewell filled me with deep sadness. I wanted to say so many things, but I didn't know where to start. I looked at Buweiro, and in that moment, I tightly held his hands. It was the first time in three days that I had physical contact with him, this true member of a prehistoric civilization. Buweiro, from the Sanziyao race, had hands that were much colder than normal person, and holding them gave me a chilling sensation.

Buweiro also gazed at me with reluctance, and it seemed that he too had considered me a friend. Until our hands parted, we didn't speak a word. Everything was understood without the need for speech.

I turned around and began walking back in the direction I had come from. I didn't look back; I didn't want to see the sorrow between us, nor did I want Buweiro to see the tears welling up in my eyes. I walked all the way down the mountain before finally turning to look at it, taking a deep breath and wiping my face with my hand, trying to shake off the sadness. Then I turned back and walked towards the village.

When I returned home, my parents were having lunch. In order to avoid them noticing anything unusual in my expression, I ran to my room to wash my face before reappearing in front of them.

"Have you eaten yet? If not, I'll make you something," my Mom asked.

"I've already eaten, Mom. I'm going to take a nap. If anything comes up in the afternoon, just call me. My foot's all healed," I replied, greeting them before heading back to my room. I lay down on my bed, closed my eyes, and began to reflect on the past three days.

Two days passed in the blink of an eye. During that time, my parents didn't disturb me, thinking that I was still recovering from my injury. Once I had sorted out my thoughts, I opened my computer and started writing about this extraordinary life experience and the message that the Inner-Earth people wanted me to bring to humanity.

Given my limited education and the fact that I'm not a professional writer, my writing ability was also limited, so I could only try my best to make it understandable for everyone.

At this point, I had written most of this strange experience, and I hoped that this book would grab humanity's attention and encourage the acceptance of the message, suggestions and warnings from Inner-Earth,  It has not been easy for us humans to achieve the current stage of civilization. Next, we should love each other, put aside hatred and selfishness, and focus all our energy on improving science and technology. For the development of our own human beings and for our future generations, we should unite and forge ahead, and stride forward towards the direction of Primary civilization!
